Happy Fourth of July!
Henry’s school had a 4th of July parade today. To celebrate the occasion, Henry’s class made some fabulous hats. After the parade, everyone had popsicles, despite the cool, cloudy day with temps in the low 60s. I think a good time was still had by all!
Dad’s Party
My dad turned 70 (!) last week, and we had a party for him at my parents’ house in Villa Park. Here are just a few photos of the day:

Fear the Turtle
Look closely in the bin to see the little visitor that ended up in our basement windowwell. . .Henry got a big kick out of Mr. Turtle! He helped Daddy take the turtle to Tiedman’s pond to release it.
