more visitors!

I haven’t posted in awhile because we’ve had a run of wonderful visits. Last week, I went to Laura’s on Monday to spend some time with Laura & Elyse. Laura was a great help in walking around with a crabby baby and giving me a break. Then, Rita came to stay for the week to hang out with Henry and was a huge help. She took a ton of great pics, which I’ll post when I get a chance, but here’s a few to get you started.

And today, my oldest friends in Madison–Norma, Vicki & Jill–came to see Henry, bearing gifts and good cheer and great advice and willing arms.

Here’s happy Henry, getting kisses from Mom:

And here’s happy Henry, telling me what he knows.

  1. Revealing my ineptness at posting comments, I posted one just now in your “About” category rather than in here – duh! :-) Just wanted you to know I am thinking of you.

  2. To those who haven’t seen Tricia for awhile: Most new moms with a colicky baby look like hell–wild-eyed, disheveled, unwashed. Not our Tricia. We three veteran mothers who visited yesterday (one of whom is also a grandmother) could only marvel at her fabulousness. Now we know that’s shallow, but it’s a consolation of sorts. Henry is adorable, too, and we were thrilled to meet him.

  3. Can’t believe he looks so grown up already! I’ve been enjoying the posts out here in Colorado as I’m sure it will be awhile before I make it to Madison to meet the little guy. I shared your blog with a friend of mine (Aimee Belden) who’s expecting and she just loved it! (See her comment on your August 7th post). Glad everything’s getting a bit easier for you! Give Henry lots of kisses from the mountains!

  4. Hi guys! Haven’t been in touch too much, but just wanted to let you know we’re thinking about you. Looking forward to meeting Henry. He is so cute and looks so happy in these pictures. Hope you guys are doing well and hanging in there. Maybe we can get together once our little one arrives – could be any day now!

Take care and we miss you!
