Henry is irresistibly drawn to the one part of the living room he shouldn’t play in: the stereo / cd area. But how can we tell him no when he gives us these cute looks? (don’t worry, we do in fact tell him no and redirect him from the area pretty much constantly.)
He tries to climb on top of the stereo, to better scale the built-in bookcase.
He also likes pressing buttons on the stereo – yesterday he found the shuffle button, so he’d change CDs constantly, listen to 2 seconds of one song, and hit the “shuffle” button again. He knows how to turn the volume up or down. We’ll rapidly go from mute to house-shaking decibels, as quickly as he can turn the dial.
