A few more fall pics. . .

Today’s the big day, but Henry’s school had their annual Halloween parade and party this past week. Here’s a few shots of our big boy, Henry the Fireman!
Checking himself out:

Cutie patootie!

In the parade with his classmates (lots of princesses, and one other fireman):

One of my friends commented that he looks very authoritative in this next photo, like, “C’mon people, move on back. Step away from the secured area.”

Had lunch with some friends yesterday. . .here’s a pic of Henry gaming with his friend Eddie. Can real video games at home be far behind??

Last weekend we took Henry to a local apple garden/ pumpkin patch. Gorgeous fall day, horse ride. . .but no apples (cash only!). Still had a great time, though. . .here’s some pics!
On the hay ride. . .

Henry petting Luke, one of the horses that pulled us on our hay ride.

Pumpkins!

We actually got this bike for Henry late in the summer, as a sort of belated b-day gift. it’s actually a two-wheeler (albeit with training wheels) and he can go *fast* on it. Here he is out for a ride.

We took a trip saturday to the Ski-Hi orchard –beautiful spread in the Baraboo Hills, gorgeous fall color, but really unseasonably chilly. We ended up w/ not a lot of pics and even fewer apples, it was just too dang cold to be outside for long. But, here’s a couple of shots on the Merrimac Ferry on the way home.

Still working through some older pics, but here’s a nice one of Henry and Val reading during one of her recent visits.

Henry made a quick visit to Great-Grandpa, Great-Grandma and Grandma this week–he had a great time!
